Hank:
(Reading) I'm NOT A Plastic bag. (Laughs) That's a very 1)astute bag you have.
Cynthia: (Laughs) Isn't it? And it better be. I almost got 2)trampled buying it.
Hank: So that's the bag people waited in line for hours to get!
Cynthia: Yep. I waited patiently for three hours. And when the doors finally opened, the line turned into a 3)scrambling 4)horde!
Hank: How'd you get one?
Cynthia: I 3)scrambled the fastest.
Hank: I've always thought Taiwanese were very respectful when lining up.
Cynthia: Sure, for the most part. I think the 5)blame here belongs to the store managers. They didn't do enough to organize the sale.
Hank: They should have given out numbers.
Cynthia: They did, but by that time, the line was already all messed up.

My First Speech Contest
I still clearly remember what happened during my first speech contest. I was very nervous about talking in front of a large crowd. When it was my turn, I tried to stay calm and walked onto the stage with a big smile. Somehow, I tripped and fell. At that moment, everyone in the audience started laughing.

I felt so embarrassed that I wanted to run away. However, I told myself that things couldn't get any worse. So I got up, took a deep breath, and went on giving my speech. As soon as I finished it, I felt relieved.

At the end of the contest, I didn't expect to win anything. To my surprise, I was awarded a special prize for courage. When I held the prize and saw the audience cheering, I felt proud of myself.
